15-09-2011 : A "wet but warm" welcome was given to MAS Kargo's new A330-200F at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport today. Malaysia Airlines' freight division MAS Kargo had just earlier received their newest aircraft during a hand-over ceremony in Toulouse. The first flight was performed from Toulouse into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. Upon arrival fire brigade tenders provided a traditional wet but gracial welcome to this first new aircraft type arrival for the airport. The subject aircraft was loaded with cargo in Amsterdam, heading eastbound to its home base in Kuala Lumpur for its inaugural commercial flight. Direct Maintenance had the priviledge to be present during this unique event and provide the required technical support.
